Alexander Sperber joined Lipsius-BenHaim in 2013. He has extensive experience in complex commercial litigation, and has represented clients in both state and federal courts across the country. Mr. Sperber counsels clients on matters related to commercial, general liability, property, workers' compensation, disability, and life insurance. 

 

Prior to joining Lipsius-BenHaim, Mr. Sperber developed a broad background as a litigator at Olshan Frome Wolosky LLP. During his time at the firm, it was ranked by the National Law Journal as one of the nation's top 20 midsize firms. While there, his practice focused on contract disputes, business and financial litigation, insurance coverage, and employment matters. He also advised clients on regulatory compliance, and defended clients against class action lawsuits and regulatory enforcement actions. 

 

Mr. Sperber received his J.D. from Fordham Law School, where he was awarded the Archibald R. Murray Public Service Award and served as a member of the Fordham Urban Law Journal. He received his B.S. in Industrial and Labor Relations from Cornell University. 

 

Mr. Sperber is a member of the New York State Bar Association and the New York City Bar Association, and was selected to the 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023, and 2024 Super Lawyer's lists of "Rising Stars."
