A. Jacob Jeger received his undergraduate degree from Queens College, summa cum laude, in 2012 where he majored in Psychology and minored in the Business and Liberal Arts Honors Program. He received his law degree from Fordham University School of Law in 2015.
Before joining Lipsius-BenHaim Law, LLP, Mr. Jeger worked at the Queens County District Attorney’s office as a prosecutor. While at the DA’s office, Mr. Jeger conducted numerous misdemeanor and felony hearings, as well as misdemeanor trials, and maintained an undefeated hearing and trial record for over three years.
At Lipsius-BenHaim, Mr. Jeger handles all types of insurance matters, and is extensively involved in litigating policy lapses, life settlement transactions, and coverage disputes. Mr. Jeger has experience dealing with life insurance, commercial general liability insurance, property insurance, and reinsurance, as well as workers’ compensation insurance programs.
Mr. Jeger was on the Brendan Moore Trial Advocacy team while at Fordham Law, and was the recipient of the Archibald R. Murray Public Service Award magna cum laude. In addition to his work at the firm, he also dedicates much of his time to many non-for-profit charitable organizations and spends time with his family.
